How does OppAgent see seller emails that hit my inbox?
Just hit forward. We want you to be in control of what we review, and don’t need access to your emails. Send your opps directly to our dedicated inbox and we’ll begin our review. Our first scores usually populate in minutes.

How do you evaluate this stuff?
Our self-serve onboarding includes a five-minute setup covering your industry and key priorities. We grade inbound pitches based on your insights about what a quality opp looks like in your world.
Give us as much detail as you can, but even the basics set us up for smart filtering.
OppAgent uses fine-tuned AI tools to gauge a seller’s company and product offering against your goals. We factor in relevance, value proposition, reputation and other qualitative mesasures within a current marketplace context.

What exactly am I getting with OppAgent?
Our goal is to make OppAgent as invisible as possible to the user, and we work mostly behind the scenes until a great opp pops up.
But we do provide a robust interface that curates all your evaluated opportunities and allows you to actively monitor and customize our vetting.
Log in anytime to see what we’ve been exploring — but it doesn’t need to be a daily stop. We’ll give you a nudge when we think there’s something worth reviewing.

What's the story with privacy?
OppAgent only has access to what you elect to forward to us, and we have no visibility into your email inbox.
The material we review is typically cold outreach from sales people at outside organizations, and we act as your partner in reviewing those — we don’t need to see any privileged information about your own company.
While we do ask you to tell us about your specific goals and priorities, and store that information while you’re an OppAgent subscriber, it’s perfectly fine to keep it general. No need to share sensitive company or client information. -
What happens when you find something great?
We let you know by email (ironic, we know). When we see something that scores of 7 or above on our 10-point scale, we’ll give you a heads up and a quick summary of our rationale.
Jump into our platform to explore in more detail, or add that opp to your Short List (where you can guide additional fact-finding to be handled by OppAgent).

Do you communicate directly with sellers?
We do, and think it’s the best way to get you real intel on the partner and offer.
Communication with sellers come from OppAgent email addresses and we’ll leave you off the chain unless you want to be copied.
When we first contact a seller, we’ll create a simple “Exploring [Seller Company]” doc for that opportunity (viewable in our platform or via Google Docs). That keeps track of questions we’ve asked and the info we’ve gathered, all in real time.

Something got a great score, now what?
If you agree with our take on on an opp, add it to your Short List.
Your Short List includes easy options for prompting deeper review. Kick off more fact-finding by telling us what info you need (or go with our suggestions) and we’ll go directly to the seller for answers.
You’ll find live updates in an opp’s ‘Exploring’ doc, and we automatically adjust our scoring as more info comes in.

Tell me more about your communications process with sellers.
It’s important to note that we don’t touch base with every seller that sends you a note (although of course we auto-score and evaluate any opp you send us). We initiate with reps when you cue up a question or request a meeting via the OppAgent interface (that option lives on your Short List).
We use generative AI to help automate our email conversations with sellers, which we disclose in every external communication. Reps are prompted to let us know if they’d rather not be contacted in that way, and in that case our (human) team is happy to take over.
You’ll have the option of letting OppAgent conduct seller email exchanges autonomously, enabling dynamic follow-ups structured around your goals. We continue the conversation until we feel we have what we need, and will let you know if we think an intro meeting makes sense (plus schedule it for you with a click).
Our tone is professional and polite, and we respect a sellers’ time.

Can others on my team submit their sales outreach for review?
We offer three subscription tiers. Join solo to scout opps as a lone wolf, as a team to share and collaborate as a group, or as a larger org managing multiple priorities and vendor categories.

How many opportunities will you review?
We don’t limit our evaluations, so keep them coming.
